Poppies

Love the bold colour of these poppies planted in the road verges. Their bent heads before they open. Their hairiness. Everything about them is lovely!

Made progress with grass cutting work today. The mist drifting in and then clearing for bright sunny spells, actually makes great working conditions. Not too hot!

Good... found my favourite gardening gloves. It seems I had put them, for 'safe keeping', in the mower's grass box. Only found them when I tipped out the first load of grass cuttings.

Not good... have mislaid a fuel receipt. I had it yesterday and today it's nowhere to be found. Annoying!
