Burghead Beach

It was relay day at the Scottish Orienteering Championships and this was at Roseisle Forest North by Burghead on the Moray coast. What a different experience from Saturday; the forest was dry, the course technical and very enjoyable. Afterwards, we went for a walk on the beach, where the blip was taken. It was gloriously sunny, but there was a cold easterly that kept the temperature down to 13. As we drove south it got very warm and it was 26 in Aviemore at 17:00 and in complete contrast by the time we got back to Edinburgh the haar was back and the temperature was 11.

Yesterday’s blip.
