Uther and Iris

My little purple irises have started coming up. They are super short - the previous owner sort of planted them wherever in our yard, which can be absolutely lovely, but Mr. Badger mows over them because it is too difficult to find where the beds are among all the grass. As a result, the irises that do come up are incredibly short ... and adorable :) This Uther the 2ish week old mousling doing a balancing act. 

I ended up not making it down to my parent's house today, I just have too much to do around the house and extra work. Not sure when I will next have a chance, probably not until almost July :( At least I am getting stuff done, that is satisfying at least!
