An artists view...

We took a trip around the east coast of Harris today on the  'Golden Road', apparently so named by the mainland press due to the perceived cost at the time of building it. It is also referred to as 'the Bays'.

Visited Rodel church, a number of art galleries, the Skoon Art Cafe (definitely worth a visit) and the studio of artist Wilie Fulton.
This shot is taken from the garden of his studio and I loved the little walkway down to the viewing point, what a great view for contemplating life, the universe and everything...

A few extras including, the Macleod Stone at sundown and the wonderful Croft 36, a wee shed which provides daily fresh meals, pies and bread available for everyone, along with a price list and honesty box...
