Another rescue...

The cat ran to the door with a bird in her mouth.  Not wanting feathers all through the house I refused to open the door.  Later I looked outside the door and cat was sniffing around the the gumboots.  I found the bird hiding between the boots.  Picking up the bird I took it out to the front and set it down.  It was still still there 10 minutes later so I took the opportunity to photograph up close.
