Summer is here

On my walk today there were hundreds of Blue Damselflies, quite a lot of Red ones and a few Emeralds. But in the end I decided to blip a Hoverfly. They are just beginning to appear in numbers. The angle of the shot means I found it a bit difficult to decide which it was.

The extras show that Common Spotted Orchids are opening up and there is a Yellow Rose of Texas. At least those are the words which came to mind when Isaw it.
