Montrose Basin

In search of a convenient wild-ish stopping point somewhere between Ecclefechan and Aberdeen, I recalled a previous visit to the Scottish Wildlife Trust site overlooking the Montrose Basin.  

It's a lovely place to spend a couple of hours waiting until it was time to head for the boat for the overnight crossing to Shetland. If you are in need of more pictures during #30DaysWild - I'm adding a couple of extras each day to a Flickr Album.
