Triptych

I've had a pretty quiet day today... My broken-down camera has come back from an eye-wateringly expensive repair so I just had to go out with it.

I went back to the old RAF Little Walden fuel store nature reserve to see if there were any Bee Orchids out, there weren't, still a little bit early for them. I did find an Aquilegia clinging on to life growing through the old concrete road. Although growing wild I pretty sure it's not a wild plant.


The thistle with bumble bee and another Common Spotted Orchid all caught my eye for this triptych.
