Tuscany

We spent most of today hammering down autostradas getting away from the cool cloudy drizzly mountain area and arrived in Tuscany to overcast grey skies and another impending storm! However it is a bit warmer and the storm quickly passed over.
We are at Montecatini Alta a delightful little Tuscan hill town where we walked to this evening. It has steep stone streets, jasmine scented air, a big piazza, an ancient church, bars and a few restaurants. We had a huge pizza each which was delicious.
We thought we saw Mark Cavendish out cycling, then after a bit of googling found out he lives around here somewhere so are sure it was him.
Allez allez Cav!
Oh yes, the photo is of a hill town* to the north of where we are, I haven't worked out where it is yet, will have to have a look at the map.
*Serravalle Pistoiese I think.
