Resumption

The legacy of yesterday's dental surgery is being managed.  The pain is bearable and disappears with medication; the swelling is only barely detectable and infection is kept at bay with a mouthwash.  So far, so good.

The garden is in fine fettle.  I couldn't decide whether the blip should be the irises or the laburnum.  In the end, it has both.

I also decided to resume work on the construction of a planter.  The measuring, sawing and routing are complete.  I decided to paint the component parts before assembly.  I am being uncharacteristically sensible.
