....this one is probably from the tribal regions in Afghanistan...used as an effigy on a funeral pyre, and, as such, quite rare ....that is, until these recent, and more turbulent times, where these are popping up all over the place, driving their value down and prompting most reputable auction houses to require provenance to ensure that it is not looted...this one pre-dates recent troubles and is really quite an interesting thing....
