Conference with The Krays

Attended an engagement conference today at the Courthouse Hotel, Shoreditch. It's the magistrates court where the Krays were held. We had a session in Reggie's actual cell. Different, I thought.

Shoreditch is a strange place. Is expensively modern with a generation y clientele who are too busy being cool to be cool.

My grandad lived in Shoreditch as a boy. In an orphanage. It was a terrible place then. It's forgotten that.
