There were only about thirty of us or so in the Loudéac library exhibition hall tonight to see a short concert (still about 45 minutes) by Moon Gogo, a duo of artists of which we knew one very well: Federico Pellegrini is a musician and singer we've been following for fifteen years or more in his tribulations. Originally we knew him as a member of the Little Rabbits, then in his French Cowboy project. Following that he formed a duo with one of the musicians in French Cowboy, Eric Pifeteau, called French Cowboy and the One. He also had a project called Dillinger Girl and Babyface Nelson with Belgian actress/singer/author/playwright Helena Noguerra.

We have all the albums but one. Well, that's after tonight's concert, when we were able to acquire the two albums he made with E’Joung-Ju, the only geomungo (pronounced "komoongo") player in Europe!

It is a wonderful instrument. Here's Pinball for you. A short set for tonight's performance is here.

Before the concert, Julie and I visited the library. Downstairs is the children section. The books for adults are upstairs. When there, I went to greet Christen, whom I met a few weeks ago and of course saw last Saturday as he was the chief coordinator of the Fête des Langues Belinda and I took part in. As we were talking to him, one of his colleagues approached with a gentleman and explained that he (the gentleman) was looking for ways to improve his French. I was able to give him some advice as to where to go and got to talk with him. It turns out he's an Englishman from Brighton, an actor, musician and singer, who has decided to come live over here and build his recording studio. I told him I could help him out both with translations and photographs if he needed. Turns out he does... So here's a more than potential client, for both activities.
