Glow

Middle boy is the quiet one many underestimate. Not tonight, first parents night and all 8 subjects, all 8 teachers could not praise him high enough with great expectations for his Nat 5 year ahead. Actually brought me to tears in English as his teacher described his ‘depth of expression and understanding’. This is not the usual plaudits this son gets, who has always found it excruciating to express himself in anyway. Lovely, just wonderful to feel that finally, someone else gets my boy.
We celebrated with a football match, and of the 8 goals scored, 6 were scored by H.
Much like the evening I Just glowed with pride.
