Xmas in November

It's too early for Xmas

This is a tradition in Newcastle. Long before Xmas - the big department store Fenwicks displays a festive scene; except these days this is a highly automated and robotized affair. All the little Geordie kids, mums and dads, troop down to parade in front of the window. Yes - I will come clean, we have done this year after year after year.

It is really too early for Xmas. I caught M actually writing out her Xmas cards. It is Bonfire night for goodness sake :) There will even be some people that have done their Xmas shopping (D take note!!)

Off now to buy our Xmas tree. I hope the needles don't drop by Xmas day ;)
