When I was younger, magpies were always thought of as quintessential English birds.
I can’t remember ever seeing one up in this part of the Britain.
Over the past decade. Or so they are highly visible all over the place.
Saying that, these were in Aberdeen; 40 miles or so further north where we stay, there doesn’t seem to be any.
