The perilous life of young a peregrine falcon

Yesterday peregrine fledgling has made a few good flights but landing is a more difficult skill. Having missed the ledge she was hanging from the brick wall of the mill for a few minutes before flying again to next be seen grounded on some waste land. 

She settled there and I have posted a set of photos of her calm and relaxed behaviour, however she doesn't have the skill to get air bound again from the ground, peregrines fall from high ledges before lifting into the air again. Grounded in a remote area she would be very vulnerable and likely be taken be any number of predators. However,  watched here for some hours this morning she was eventually picked up by a handler put in box, covered and taken straight back up to the roof of the mill where she will hopefully be OK. She was calm through the whole affair but it raises the big question, when should anyone interfere with wildlife. On this occasion I was definitely in approval.
