Heading home

We left Barbate at 7:30 am and started heading home. The Satnav route went past Seville again and so we opted to follow some quieter roads and kept heading east with a bit of north. Spectacular mountains followed by endless olives and then a flat fairly tedious plain.
The miles passed and by the time we got to Valencia at 5 pm it was looking like we were going to complete the journey in one day. We crossed the border back into France at 9:30 pm and breathed some sort of sigh of relief of being back in the land where we could communicate to some extent. The down side was that the motorway services we went into for sustenance had just closed -no Spanish hours here.
