The bees are a'buzzin'

Some years ago, I bought a briar-type rose at an open garden. They couldn't remember its name, but it has one beautiful flush of single pink flowers, and the bees adore them! There's a drunken buzz permeating the garden.
I spent an hour or two digging up some creeping comfrey and a clump of Solomon's Seal, from the shady bed, and the lifting of a little bit more of the lawn...until my back said, "no more".
The rather small lawn is full of all sorts: I found a little Ladybird Poppy, alongside a Heartsease. (Extra)
