Race the Train

Here we are, ready to go.

Train 25 mins late, so run was in the midday sun.

This year's midday sun was feckin hot.

First 10k was good, next 8 was hard, but did get further than hoped when the Union of South Africa went past us.

Big thumbs up to lady with hosepipe, very welcome, kids with nerf waterpistols, very welcome, and the impromptu water stops folk put on.

A big feck off to the ice cream van parked up a mile from home.
