Blue geranium

We had these perennial geraniums in my childhood home and they were always known as blue geraniums. Now they probably have a smarter name, and have been joined by lots more varieties of hardy geraniums. They all seem to thrive on our chalky soil.
I enjoyed a good gardening session today, it has been a beautiful day, not too hot. Still no rain, so I shall have to water this evening.
