Ancient Ruins

We cycled to the historic Greek Temples at Paestum just outside the village. They are about 2,600 years old, built as temples to the Greek Gods, and appear to have withstood the heat and the centuries of weathering better than we have.
It was SOOOO hot. Not complaining , just an observation.
Then we had a leisurely lunch , more leisurely than we bargained for because we seemed to be invisible to the waiters, anyway it was delicious.
After that we came back and had a dip in the beautifully warm Mediterranean Sea.

Edit. Went to the beach to see the sun set just now, popped one in as an extra.
