La vida de Annie

Cornia Nou y vacas.

Too hot today for a long walk (I'm still not 100%), so took the dogs to Cornia Nou, the talaiolithic settlement just along a farm track from the polígono (industrial park) in Mahon. On the site were a number of volunteers carrying out further excavation - it looks like there are plenty more foundations of dwellings to unearth - and bizarrely several cows, to which of course Buster took loud exception. I´m not sure if they just wandered in when the volunteers left the gate open when they drove up, or whether they had been deliberately led there for some free grazing. Last time I was there it was really overgrown, so that would be a win-win. I was a little worried that at the other end of the site there is an open gap in the wall, without a gate, which leads directly onto a busy roundabout.
