Golden circle

An incredible day in Iceland following the Golden circle tour route from Reykjavik. Mid-Arlantic ridge at Thingvellir, geysers at, well, Geysir (where else?), awesome waterfall at Gullfoss, volcanic caldera at Kerid, geothermal power station, hot springs at Hvargaerdi, and a lava tube cave to finish.

Seven earthcaches and loads of stunning photos, but which to blip?

This is the Strokkur geyser between its eruptions, I love the steam, the people, and the calm before the storm. It erupts every 6-9 minutes, so we saw it 4 times while we were there. Just incredible!
