It's nice to be out again!

Apologies for my absence, breathing has continued to be tricky and life has most definitely got in the way! Very few outings have been punctuated by exhaustion and lack of concentration - still smiling, just very tired. I am happy to say, however, I did not forget this wonderful place and knew I would be back soon as there is simply too much colour around not to be shared, even with my average skills.

Too often I have pondered, what is jusjerry up too, how is Rainie, hope Sutin is laughing, and lukeit, and nanchang, and I need to see a 'bridge' picture and mountain bikes and how are peoples families and all of you to whom I subscribe, (and those whom I wander past amazed at your talents) and the beauty of Jackology - it must be mentioned, how I have missed it. Thank you all for the pictures that you post, they are inspiring!

Anyway, I'm going on leave for 10 whole days, I'm so excited I'm telling everybody! It's the longest amount of time I have ever taken off work and in this case the first leave in 4 years apart from my 4 days (inclusive of weekend) in NZ earlier this year.

My current position is 'winding up' and my project has drawn to a successful close. For those wondering, for the past 4 years I have been the Project Training Manager for the Casino in Melbourne (on behalf of a TAFE and the Australian Apprenticeship Services: 3 bosses....need I say more about coordinating leave lol). Working in an environment with over 13000 employees, we (the brilliant team that welcomed and worked with me) have run the biggest commercial Hospitality training project in Australia. We have won multiple awards, graduated hundreds of students with nationally recognised qualifications and changed a culture of 'passing through employees' to career driven hospitality professionals. I'm pleased we managed to achieve that!

Its been great fun, but it's time to move on to the next adventure wherever it may be...glad I'm breathing regularly again, life's too exciting not too!

Will spend the next week visiting journals and saying hello before I seek out my adventure (don't know where I'm going on leave so no idea if I'll have reception/computer etc)! I hope you are all awesome and life's full of colour..it's good to be back! :) See you when I'm back from leave. Missing you already!
