Cotton grass on Simonside

Mr C wanted to test his pacemaker with a climb up Simonside. We didn’t push it but he was very pleased, as we did 6 miles with a pull up the steep bit at a steady pace. We feel very heartened, and very fortunate as we have recently had worrying news about a close friend’s health. We have to wait till the end of the week for his biopsy results.
