Watching the show

As R & G were packing the car this morning, a low loader pulled up on the road.  Robin, of course, had to go and investigate, with W assisting.

The low loader pulled onto the building site opposite, and the workers there proceeded to load a large digger onto it.  But first, they laid on an extra show for Robin, using the digger to wave to him (1st extra).  

We stopped to watch the loading (2nd extra), before the family departed for the airport, and home.

We then went off to the garden centre, bought three large trees, and W planted them, all before lunch.  We've had a lazy afternoon, sitting in the garden room watching the starlings squabble on the bird food.
