the rain continues

No sun to bask in
No frolics or fun
Simply a dog's life
Working so hard
All anxiety and strife
And nothing enjoyed
Just hard intense dozing
But wait! A fragrance?
Something baking
Oh I could dance
Current bun! And biscuits as well
At last something to wake for
And escape from this hell
If I could just move this paw
And crawl to the door
