Mother and Baby

Today Mr isbi dropped Elizabeth at school at 8am as she had a test then returned for Hugh and took him at 9am then collected me and Henry to set off in the other direction to take him to pre-school.
It was Adelaide’s day at home with Mummy and Jane.

At 10am we attended the funeral of John’s late sister’s 96 year old mother in law. It was followed by the usual morning tea then lunch at the Royal Sydney Yacht Squadron. That wasn’t so usual for us being very upmarket. We were intrigued by the list of former commodores. A baron, general, lots of sirs and a solitary Mr who happened to be a former Governor General. Anyway it was a nice change, a delicious lunch and, despite being a sad occasion, good to catch up with extended family.

Straight afterwards we took Henry home, picked Hugh up from Elizabeth’s netball practice (a kind friend had taken them both there from school so we didn’t need to leave the lunch early), delivered Hugh to scoccer training and then Mr isbi set off back to the mountains for tonight’s Rotary meeting.

I don’t normally drive in Sydney but with Bec as navigator and moral support I managed to go back for Hugh after soccer.

Then all we had to do was supervise homework, feed and bath them :-)
Are you exhausted too, from reading this?
