A view from St Swithin

Ardnamurchan Lighthouse

We visited friends in Ardnamurchan today and after lunch drove out to the most westerly point on the British mainland. The weather had taken a turn for the worse by the time we reached the lighthouse perched on the western tip of the peninsula. It’s a good place to visit though - a coffee shop, exhibition and for a few quid a guided tour if the lighthouse. Also great views of the islands , coastline and wildlife but sadly not much to see today due to squally rain showers.
