Moving Day

You couldn’t make today up if you tried! So teachers were moving to their new classroom today. Nearly everyone had to move , not just children and personal belongings but furniture as well. I was to start the moving chain. I was almost done by 9.45am when the fire alarm went off. It wasn’t a drill so we had to wait out side in the stormy weather until the fire service said it was safe to go back in.Meanwhile just along from the muster point in the playground a rather big tree cane down in the wind!! Another one looked a bit dodgy so we had to move the children to a safer area.
So that knocked everything back a good 50 minutes. You can imagine a school of 360+ kids moving everything around the school!!
You could not make it up!
Home for a rather large glass of wine. Feeling shattered so no mile run tonight. I reckon I must have walked about 3 miles anyway!
