Seasonal

 Today I wanted some info about becoming German, so I went to the Volkshochschule.  This is the official place to get information about naturalisation.  All I found was 2 empty offices and a closed door with a Do Not Disturb sign on it.  I know better than to disturb a German Civil Servant, so I waited.  And after 15 minutes I gave up.  I'll write them an E-Mail, that's a lot less painful.

While I was out I dropped in to the office to pick up the penultimate delivery of asparagus.  

The asparagus season traditionally closes on the 24th June - known here as Johannistag, which is the feast day of John The Baptist.
