Walking in Hertfordshire

Went walking with a friend out in Hertfordshire. We caught the train out to Hemel Hempstead, about 35 minutes on train and then off we went up on to the chalk ridges of the Chilterns. We were well equipped with map and very precise instructions but still managed to end up doing the walk backwards. Did it really matter? No. A glorious day, we stopped for a pint and a great lunch at a pub and on the way back walked through wheat fields. We spotted a fox up ahead of us on the track but he darted off before l could get the camera out.
