The Common Spotted Orchid

A real summer day at Stowe Landscape Garden.

There had been some excitement as a change in management of some of the grassland, later mowing, has encouraged the Common Spotted Orchid to multiply and there is an area with over a 100 in full flower. We also found one Bee Orchid in bloom.
