Church yard

Today I had to take Julie over to her Mum and Dads as she was running late and would have missed her train. So I took the opportunity to take a detour to the  lovely village of Potterhanworth to take a few shots.
This is a shot of the church there a few more of my shots can be seen HERE .
St Andrew’s Church is situated in a leafy, central part of the village. It displays the features of a medieval place of worship, but nothing remains of the pre-conquest church. There was a church in the 14th century but only the Tower survived. Years of neglect caused the church to fall into ruin but in 1749, when it was rebuilt, the Tower was preserved and extra pinnacles added.
