Paddling along

We were so lucky today, David to us canoeing through the Columbia River Wetlands. These stretch for 150 miles!! Unbelievable for those of us who live in tiny little England.
The river was tranquil but flows very deep and powerful, all the way to the coast near Seattle.
It was the most magical and peaceful trip through a protected wilderness that belongs entirely to the wildlife.
