Pico do Arieiro

We went up 1800 meters to one of the highest mountains in Madeira- Pico do Arieiro, it was very pretty drive up and not too scary, I have never been good with heights but I felt ok. It was very windy at the top but we had clear skies so the views were amazing. We had another lovely lunch out on the way back and then went to the pool at the apartment for a swim. There was a firework display in the evening which we could watch from our roof terrace.
