Kunsthalle Mannheim

A family visit to Mannheim Art Gallery, which has recently been reopened after being structurally reorganised. The old part in Art Nouveau stile was kept and combined with a new cubic style building. Between the spatious cubes there are vistas to the city streets (shown here), and the 1888 water tower. In the entrance hall a clock (and a stone) hung from the ceiling fly sisterly in ever repeating circles (extra). A well enjoyed sunday tour.
