Butterflies

This weekend, Sharon and I were travelling to a Strategy Weekend put on by Tim's employer.  This was two nights in a nice hotel, with activities, food and booze all provided on the company.

In order to make the most of it, we took Friday off work and travelled up to a morning camera club outing at a Butterfly Farm.

Tim's parents used to own a static caravan in Weardale, which was on the way from the Butterfly Farm to our hotel, so we spent the afternoon visiting some old haunts.  Hamsterley Forest was a favourite place of ours, so we stopped off there for tea and cake,  and found the Gruffalo.

We then drove up to our hotel, and enjoyed a lovely buffet for dinner before Tim attended a company meeting.
