a rose etching...

i've said it before - i don't often do photos in mono - or black & white since i don't consider it my forte - but sometimes i'm simply drawn to the sheer - simplicity of how it looks - especially when one has the assistance of - a useful app doing the work - like this one creating a rather splendid etching - of the rose - when all elements come together such as these do - in such fine precision - it's difficult to deny their beauty - i mean, who am i to do so?

whether or not i believe i might do - justice to mono then becomes a moot point - and the real issue becomes - the one where we all know it will be...
