Mono Monday : Square

Here’s Queen’s Square in the centre of my town, showing off the fountains that were part of its £3,000,000 refurbishment last year.
You can also see some delightfully square 1960s buildings, which can be found in large numbers, built in stages following the rebirth of what was a sleepy little town as one of the New Towns in 1947.
Give me ornate Victoriana any time, but it seems to be wearing well.
