Royal...

Three counties show.

We were up early, had breakfast and picked Lucy up at 8am. Last year we sweltered in 30d heat, this year it was a cool 16d with light showers on and off until the afternoon. Nevertheless, we had a wonderful day. Lots to see ~ sheep shearing competitions, farrier competition. Lots of farmers showing their different breeds from sheep, cows, pigs to alpacas, rabbits and chickens and much, much more. Mr C had two slots for commentating for the Kennel Clubs Good Citizen Dog Scheme, where dog owners from all over the country come together to put on a little display about being responsible dog owners. They enjoy it as much as the dogs do.... Isla here needed a cuddle from her mum after all her hard work ;-D))

Once Mr C had finished his duties (about 4.30) we headed off to Worcester for a look around. We didn’t have too long but it looked a lovely city and we would like to go again. Back to Cheltenham for supper at a lovely pub then up to Cleeve Hill to walk off our dinner but, brrrrr, it was windy and very chilly so we didn’t hang around long. Dropped Lucy off home and then flopped at the hotel.

Extra.. Boycie (actor from only fools and horses), owl, farrier.
