Poppy Field

Much construction work has occurred since I blipped this a year ago but there is still a good showing of poppies - and thistles - in the field by Newton village. This time I had to climb over a fallen Heras fence for the best shot.

I have just back-blipped yesterday's jollities, from which we returned rather late and too full of fish and chips to begin writing historical text..
