Boating Me Blues.

Poole. That`s my ship tied up (the biggest of the 3, the MV Jolly Doomsday). Bought the yacht here from an impoverished Oligarch.Only took the boat out for one spin, discovered the coffee cup holder and the G and T holder  by the steering thingee were a tad loose.
Had a natter with the yard Foreperson -- said it would be fixed soonest.  Also took the opportunity to ask about these sea words, like aft, astern,port ,starboard,drop anchor etc. Did not fully understand the explanations, so had better get a booklet on driving your boat.
Anyway , they apologised for the oversight and promised to bring the ship to Salisbury for me up the river.
They will park it with the pointy end downstream, and put the keys under the bullocks, near the yorocks on the left hand side. They will then get the bus home to Poole Quay.
