Hydrangea

I put on my chore list this morning going out and getting more hydrangea blooms for making new bouquets. A new one in the kitchen and a new one in the living room.

When I look out at the hydrangea bushes I just grin as I see all the beautiful blooms. There have to be three to four times the blooms on our side of the bushes that get taken care of as opposed to the backyard neighbour’s.

I wish I had the physical ability to do their side too but I don’t. Kent has said he will assist me this winter in tending to both sides of the bushes.

Went with Kent this afternoon to an appointment to see a pulmonary specialist since he has had a cough for well over two years now. They did five different breathing tests and chest X-ray and pronounced his lungs “great”. We are back to not knowing what to do as he is on maximum allergy medicine.

The heatwave has begun with temperatures in the 90s and heat indexes in triple digits. Thunderstorms late afternoon
