Line, Man, Color at the Norton Simon Museum

These are our two great friends, Mike & Nancy who came to visit us on part of a 50-day road trip across the U.S.  Together, they are alongside two monumental paintings by Ellsworth Kelly in an exhibit called: line, man, color at the Norton Simon Museum in Pasadena, California. Kelly’s striking work in lithography demonstrates the way he absorbed the world around him and experimented with both line and color.
Mike and I have been friends for over 50-years.  What makes this photo ironic is that his profession is scaling tall electrical towers as a lineman in Chicago.
I'm not pretentious enough to title my photographs, but I am going to for this one.  I call it, "Lineman Color."
