The Tourist's View

Every now I then I like to take myself off to London and "do the touristy thing".  So today I took advantage of Mum's location with an easy and quick route into town by train to arrive at Victoria Station by 10:30am.  From there it is a few mins walk to Buckingham Palace were I found crowds of tourists, road closures, police etc.  Next thing I know a marching band goes by - not that I saw them behind a sea of mainly foreign visitors with mobiles and selfie sticks.

I decided to move on heading to St Jame's Park, but eventually found a slightly less crowded place when another band marched pass - London tourist "must do" number one ticked off - seeing the guards change at Buckingham Palace!
