Widening your vision

So we've been coming back to this small studio in Gaillac for 12 years and over that time the greenery has exploded to the extent that we can no longer see the vineyards across the valley. The owners haven't noticed the gradual theft of the view, as they have lived with this as a gradual process. It was only when we drew their attention to the loss, when they saw things through our eyes, from our balcony, the significance dawned and trees were lopped (second picture). The view is restored.
Every now and again it is necessary to clear obstructions which have clogged our view of people, things or events, to refocus. Sometimes other people can be tbe catalyst to begin the process... So we need to have the humility to listen and respond
