1950s Workhorse - still going strong

We've seen this vehicle a few times on a home nearing completion in our neighbourhood. Stopped for a chat with the owner who is finishing off the home for him and his wife.

Dave told an amusing story about how his brother had one of these when Dave was a teenager and how, on the way to football, his brother took a corner sharply and Dave slid across the seat and out of the door and ended up on his backside on the road!

This is a pretty cool "ute" and it is good to see it is still being used as such.

PS Rainie and Cabbagetree - whats with you both blipping hideous creatures and them both being on the front page when I logged in???? Gave me quite a turn!
