Random Acts

A class of primary school children were in town this afternoon. They approached shoppers and politely asked us if we would like a flower. They were performing “random acts of kindness.” They wished us a very good day, smiled and gave us one or two sweet peas, or a cornflower.
The teacher was with them and they were all looking very happy.
If just thinking about kindness amongst themselves, not to mention strangers, I suppose the afternoon was well spent!
